Pinnacle Financial Partners is ranked higher than ever as one of the top places to work in the United States, according to a new list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For® from FORTUNE magazine and Great Place to Work. The firm came in at No. 14, its highest rank yet, moving up 13 spots from 2019.

Pinnacle Earns 29 Greenwich Excellence and Greenwich Best Brand Awards

Pinnacle Financial Partners brought home a near record number of Greenwich Best Brand and Excellence Awards for 2019. The 29 awards are national and regional honors, including those earned for distinctive service and effective advice given to small business and middle market clients. Only one other firm in the country earned as many, cementing Pinnacle’s place as one of the best banks to work with in the United States.

Pinnacle Financial Partners to Relocate Main Office in Roanoke

Pinnacle Financial Partners is opening a new main office for Western Virginia at 202 Campbell Ave. SE. This represents a significant investment in the community and the region with the construction of a landmark building at the gateway to downtown. It will officially open March 16, 2020, and replaces the office at 36 Church Ave., SW, which will close on March 13, 2020.

Pinnacle Financial Partners to Open New Office in Murfreesboro

Pinnacle Financial Partners will open a new office on Medical Center Parkway in late summer 2020 to offer additional convenience to Murfreesboro clients. The new office will be led by Courtney Chavez, who is working out of the firm’s College Street location while the new office is being built.

Pinnacle reported net income per diluted common share of $1.26 for the quarter ended December 30, 2019, compared to net income per diluted common share of $1.23 for the quarter ended December 30, 2018, an increase of 2.4 percent.

Pinnacle Financial Partners Builds Atlanta Team with First Local Associates

Pinnacle Financial Partners’ Atlanta President Rob Garcia has begun building a team with three new additions to start 2020. Paige Collier, Susan Godbee and Matthew Ricks have joined the firm and will serve clients as the first Pinnacle associates in the market. Collier is a senior lending officer. Godbee and Ricks are both financial advisors focused on commercial clients.

Veteran Bank Leader Phillip May Joins Pinnacle as Memphis President

Pinnacle Financial Partners welcomed a new Memphis president today when longtime West Tennessee banking leader Phillip May joined the firm. He will work with Memphis Chairman Kirk Bailey to lead Pinnacle’s commercial and retail banking team and recruit more top-tier local financial professionals. May is based at the main local office on Shady Grove Road.

Strata-G and Pinnacle Join Forces to Aid Knox Area Families in Need

Pinnacle Financial Partners and Strata-G announced today a joint donation totaling $50,000 to support Knox Area Rescue Ministries and Westview Community School, part of the Great Schools Partnership. Both work with local families in need and those experiencing homelessness.
