January 16, 2024

Pinnacle Financial Partners presented a $100,000 gift to the Mother Emanuel Memorial Foundation at the grand opening celebration for the firm’s new Morrison Yard office.

“Mother Emanuel is a pillar of hope in the Charleston community,” said Mary Garcia, regional president for Pinnacle Financial Partners. “We’re honored to partner with the Mother Emanuel Foundation in their efforts to honor the lives of the Mother Emanuel Nine. Supporting our community is not just a corporate responsibility. It’s a fundamental part of who we are.”

In addition to representatives from Mother Emanuel AME Church, business and community leaders and Pinnacle clients attended the January 11 event at Pinnacle’s Morrison Yard office, 850 Morrison Drive, Suite 101. The new full-service office sits beautifully at the gateway to the Charleston peninsula, the base of the iconic Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. It expands the firm’s ability to serve in the heart of a growing Charleston.

Video that shows how the office fits into this iconic location is available here.

The Morrison Yard office is home to 41 associates, including financial advisors, credit advisors, financial advisor assistants, financial specialists, treasury management analysts and more. Office Leader Charles Thompson leads a team of three associates serving individuals and businesses from the retail office on the first floor, and the building is homebase for Regional President Mary Garcia.

“We’re pleased to serve clients at this landmark building at the base of the beautiful bridge that so many commuters cross each day in our vibrant coastal business community,” Garcia said. “It’s perfectly positioned to be a key part of this district for many years to come.”

This new office is a relocation from Pinnacle’s Meeting Street location. In addition to the retail office on the ground floor, the building has additional office space on the ninth floor of the building. Both have the firm’s distinctive contemporary architectural style. The architect for the project was Liollio Architecture and the contractor was J. Musselman Construction, both based in Charleston.
