Pinnacle Continues to Attract top Talent in the Triangle and Eastern North Carolina

Pinnacle Financial Partners attracted eight experienced and tenured financial professionals in the Raleigh market during the second and third quarters of 2022. Joining the Raleigh Glenwood Avenue office are Financial Advisors Tucker Andrews, Mike DeBender, Jack Dinno and Ed Hollowell, Office Leader Mark Marley and Financial Advisor Assistant Barbara Varner. Financial Specialists Jasmine Franklin joined the Raleigh Falls of Neuse office, and Brandon Pinnix joined the Chapel Hill Farrington Road office.

Andrews brings 22 years of experience, most recently as senior vice president of middle market banking for Wells Fargo’s commercial banking division. Previously she was a senior manager in strategy and commercial financial products for RBC Bank. Tucker earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her master’s degree in business administration with a corporate finance concentration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hills’ Kenan-Flagler Business School.

DeBender joins with 25 years of experience and comes to Pinnacle from Fifth Third Bank, where he was a relationship manager for its middle market banking segment. Other roles with Fifth Third included serving as the Carolinas commercial banking team leader and the Triangle North Carolina’s team leader for business banking. DeBender earned his bachelor’s degree in managerial economics from Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, VA.

Dinno brings 29 years of financial services experience and comes from United Bank (CresCom Bank), where he most recently was a commercial banker serving both the Central and Eastern North Carolina regions. Previously he was with First Horizon (Capital Bank N.A.), where he was a commercial loan officer originating loan relationships with home builders throughout the Triangle and Fayetteville markets. Dinno earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University and his master’s degree in business administration from Wayne State University in Detroit. 

Hollowell, has 25 years of experience, comes to Pinnacle from Fidelity Bank where he served as Vice President and Commercial Banker.  Prior to that Hollowell worked with Truist Corporation (BB&T) in Charlotte, where he developed, served as credit underwriter and serviced business loans for commercial businesses. Previously he was with Capital Bank in Raleigh, where he was a vice president in the commercial lending area. Hollowell earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his master’s degree in business administration from Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

Marley brings a 22-year career in financial services from Truist (SunTrust Bank), where he most recently served as branch leader for the bank’s South Main Street office in Wake Forest. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Marley holds Series 6 and 63 securities licenses.

Varner brings 30 years of experience to her role, serving most recently as a commercial banking assistant for Atlantic Union Bank. Previously she was a commercial banking assistant for Regions Bank and an assistant manager for SouthTrust Bank.

Franklin, with 12 years of experience in teller operations and customer experience, was most recently a branch coordinator for Truist. Previously she was a teller operations specialist for Bank of America.

Pinnix, with more than 5 years’ experience, comes to Pinnacle from First Citizens Bank, where he was a financial services specialist. Previously he served as a branch banker for Truist. Pinnix earned his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro.
