Pinnacle Financial Partners has added Rick Tobe and Philip Culver as wealth financial advisors at the firm’s Louisville Lakeview office. Together they bring more than 25 years of combined private banking and wealth management experience and will focus on serving clients across the Louisville area. Tobe and Culver join the firm as Louisville continues on a strong growth path.

“Rick and Philip are the kind of advisors people follow, and they both fit naturally into what we’re building in Louisville,” said Mark Raque, who leads wealth advisors for the Louisville market. “Rick has deep roots here and a long track record of caring for clients in a personal way. That’s the heart of our model. Philip is known for delivering customized wealth strategies and empowering clients to make confident financial decisions. Both understand the responsibility that comes with being a client’s first call for financial advice, and they’ll help us keep meeting the needs of a growing client base.”

Tobe joins Pinnacle from Stock Yards Bank & Trust, where he served as vice president in the private banking group. Before that, he owned and led a State Farm agency and held roles in commercial insurance, energy trading, and commercial banking. He earned his MBA and has been active in developing long-term business relationships across Louisville’s commercial and professional communities.

Culver comes to Pinnacle with more than 15 years of experience in private banking and wealth management, most recently serving as a wealth management advisor at Fifth Third Private Bank. He has a proven record of developing tailored investment, lending, insurance, and estate planning strategies for high-net-worth clients. Culver is known for his collaborative approach and for building lasting relationships through trust, transparency, and customized financial guidance. He previously held roles with PNC Private Client Group and Merrill Lynch. Culver earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Louisville.
