Tenured treasury advisor joins Pinnacle in Roanoke to serve business clients across Virginia

Pinnacle Financial Partners has added longtime Virginia banking leader Mary Blanton to its team as a treasury management advisor. Based in Roanoke, Blanton will serve clients throughout the Commonwealth, including the firm’s recently added team in Richmond. Blanton brings her expertise in cash management, financial strategy and risk management to further strengthen the firm’s ability to deliver innovative and comprehensive cash management solutions to its clients.

Blanton brings more than three decades of experience delivering treasury services to corporate and middle market clients across Virginia. At Pinnacle, she will work closely with financial advisors to help businesses streamline operations, optimize liquidity and plan for growth with services that include receivables management, fraud protection and digital banking tools. 

Blanton spent 34 years at Wells Fargo, where she most recently served as an executive director and treasury sales consultant. Her experience spans the commercial banking sector, including middle market, corporate and healthcare clients.  She has deep expertise in cash flow optimization and a strong track record of helping clients solve operational challenges with innovative solutions. A native Virginian, she is well known throughout the Commonwealth for her dedication to client success and her long-standing community relationships. She will work hand-in-hand with advisors in Richmond, Roanoke and Lynchburg. 

Blanton earned her bachelor’s in business administration from Radford University and is a Certified Cash Manager and Certified Purchasing Card Professional.
