Pinnacle Financial Partners is one of America's Best Workplaces For Parents

December 04, 2023

For parents, Pinnacle Financial Partners is one of the best places to work in nation. The firm earned the No. 28 spot on the list of 2023 Best Workplaces for Parents from Great Place to Work®. It’s Pinnacle’s fifth appearance on the list, which is determined by anonymous employee surveys, with analysis focused on the comparison between parent responses and non-parent responses.

“We build a culture of caring, so every individual is seen and feels a sense of belonging in our Pinnacle family,” said Terry Turner, Pinnacle’s president and CEO. “Work and life have to coexist or else both suffer. Balance is one of our values, and this award speaks directly to our success in making sure associates have the flexibility they need to prioritize themselves and their families.”

Among Pinnacle respondents to the survey, 98 percent of associates say Pinnacle is a great place to work. The following remark from a Pinnacle associate echoes this sentiment.

“Pinnacle is very open with information from the top down, which I love. Pinnacle also provides their employees when a unique work life balance. I never feel uncomfortable leaving work early for my children's afternoon extracurricular events. At my previous employer, I was not that fortunate. Pinnacle also has a great teamwork feel. I value the members of our team and feel like I have legit friends that work beside me. Having that feel makes me want to come to work as I enjoy my time at Pinnacle.”

Comments on Pinnacle’s own third-party compiled work environment survey included remarks from parents about the firm’s contribution to work-life balance:

“I have always appreciated and valued that our firm is associate driven, we all win together and lose together no matter what our role is. I've watched changes happen over the years that support associates with the addition of paid paternal leave for non-birthing parents or adoptive parents; the creation of the DEI team (before other corporations); Culture Club and go365 events whether they are firm driven or market initiatives; even providing health care options for our family pets. Our leadership team has always worked to ensure work life balance, which has allowed associates to participate in things that mean something to them. This has always been what has made our culture unique, strong and family like.”

“I love that I can do my job without being micromanaged and that I am encouraged to maintain work-life balance and always put family first.”

“I value the flexibility/work-life balance Pinnacle promotes.”
