Pinnacle Financial Partners Strengthens Riverwood Team in Atlanta
Pinnacle Financial Partners has bolstered its Riverwood team in Atlanta with the addition of six experienced financial professionals. Mark Planer, Tim Davis, Matt Goodson, Ryan Kohrs, Jennifer Thaxton, and Kyle Reed bring diverse expertise to enhance Pinnacle’s distinctive service and effective advice for clients across the area.

- Mark Planer, financial advisor, joins with 19 years of experience in commercial banking. He previously served as senior vice president at First Citizens Bank and has held leadership roles at Wells Fargo. Planer is a graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.
- Tim Davis, financial advisor, brings 17 years of industry expertise. He was a private client advisor and senior vice president at Bank of America. Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi.
- Matt Goodson, trust and wealth advisor, comes to Pinnacle with 14 years of financial services experience, including a role as a senior trust officer at Bank of America. He holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Campbell University and is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council.
- Kyle Reed, office leader at the Pinnacle’s Riverwood office, has more than 11 years of expertise in small business banking and client service. Formerly with Synovus, he has been recognized for driving growth and building strong community partnerships. Reed earned his degree from Georgia State University.
- Ryan Kohrs, credit advisor, specializes in commercial banking and real estate finance with more than a decade of experience. Previously at The First Bank and Truist, he managed diverse portfolios and structured complex credit solutions. Kohrs is a graduate of Kennesaw State University.
- Jennifer Thaxton, treasury management advisor, brings years of experience helping businesses optimize their financial operations. Previously at BB&T, she focused on treasury management solutions and holds a degree in business administration from the University of Alabama.
