Pinnacle is Still the One in Knoxville
Pinnacle Financial Partners is still the No. 1 workplace on the Knoxville News Sentinel’s list of Top Workplaces in the mid-size business category – one of only nine who have been recognized all five years of the newspaper’s rankings. Pinnacle also received a special Meaningfulness Award overall for being a workplace where associates feel they are part of something meaningful.
Pinnacle’s vision has stayed the same since its founding: to be the best financial services firm and the best place to work. Only the geography of this vision has expanded – from “in Nashville” originally to “in the Southeast.”
“I have personally witnessed this great team pulling together to support associates in need as well as clients and organizations,” said Mike DiStefano, the firm’s regional president for Knoxville. “The energy and intention that our 130 associates put into making a difference, ensuring that every person counts, winning and losing together as one team, and doing the right thing is truly impressive. And whether we’ve been here for a year or two decades, we’re all carrying out the original vision that started this firm 21 years ago.”
The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC (formerly called WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection, just to name a few.
Earlier this year, Pinnacle was listed by FORTUNE Magazine as No. 26 of their list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in the United States and No. 8 on their list of the top financial services firms to work for. In 2020, the firm climbed to the No. 4 spot on both the list of Best Workplaces for Millenials and Best Workplaces for Women from FORTUNE magazine and Great Place to Work.® People Magazine named the firm one of the 50 Companies That Care.
