Two Wealth Advisors and a Former Assistant AG Join Pinnacle

Two experienced wealth advisors and a former assistant state attorney general have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners in the Raleigh-Durham area.

Wealth managers Kent Anders and Travis Sissler bring experience and expertise to their roles as financial advisors for Pinnacle’s client advisory group, which serves business and commercial clients. Anders comes from BB&T and is based at Pinnacle’s Durham office, while Sissler comes from Wells Fargo and is based at the Raleigh Glenwood office. In addition, Elizabeth Stone has joined Pinnacle as legal counsel. She was formerly a North Carolina assistant attorney general for the Department of Justice’s transportation division and has also worked in private practice at Williams Mullen, P.C.

Anders brings 23 years of financial services experience to his role, most recently at BB&T (now Truist), where he advised clients on financial planning, asset management, personal trust and estate planning. Prior to his tenure at BB&T he worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Anders earned a bachelor’s degree at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and is a CFP® professional. He has served in leadership positions for the Greenville Rotary Club, the Meditation Center of Eastern Carolina, and the Kiwanis Club of Greenville and is a member of the Durham Rotary Club.

Sissler has 13 years of financial services experience and spent the last decade at Wells Fargo Bank, most recently as a wealth management senior private banker for The Private Bank.  He also worked for SunTrust Bank (now Truist) as assistant branch manager from 2007-2010. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. His community involvement includes support for the Salvation Army, Ronald McDonald House, Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC and has a passion surrounding all things involving the support of Duke Children’s Hospital. Sissler was a member of the Leadership Cary Class of 2019.

Stone brings 13 years of legal experience to her role, much of it representing regional and national banks. While in private practice at Williams Mullen, PC in Raleigh, she advised financial services firms and banking institutions regarding applicable regulatory requirements, consumer protection statutes, and related statutory provisions in North Carolina. As assistant attorney general, her role was to counsel and assist NCDOT, the State Ports Authority, and the Global Transpark in project risk mitigation, contract negotiation, and related matters. She earned a Juris Doctor with honors and a bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Stone is a volunteer offering pro bono legal services through the North Carolina Bar Foundation’s 4ALL Statewide Service Day and the chair of the Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.
