Veteran Financial Services Professional Richie Godfrey Joins Pinnacle in The Upstate

Veteran banker, Richie Godfrey joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as a financial advisor and area manager in the Upstate region. In this role, he is responsible for building relationships within the Upstate community and working alongside the team to provide distinctive financial service and effective advice to clients. He will work from the 550 E.McBee Avenue location.

Godfrey comes to Pinnacle with more than two decades of banking experience in South Carolina. Prior to joining the firm, Godfrey served as the Greenville market president for Truist Bank, where he consistently exceeded production goals and customer expectations, while also leading his team in new business development and building strong client relationships. Godfrey received his bachelor’s degree from Anderson University and is a graduate of South Carolina Banker’s School.
