Tyler Morgan

Tyler joined Pinnacle Financial Partners in 2016 and is Managing Director for PNFP Capital Markets, where he is responsible for leading the origination and execution of M&A and capital raise transactions across various industries in the middle market. Tyler primarily represents family-owned and founder-owned businesses and has notable experience in the manufacturing, distribution, industrials and business services sectors. He also advises clients on capital structure, capital alternatives, strategic planning and value creation.  

In addition, Tyler is responsible for strategy execution and business development for the investment banking group with an emphasis on growth in M&A advisory services to serve more clients. He also focuses on developing and expanding relationships with private equity firms and family offices.

Prior to Pinnacle, Tyler practiced law at a regional law firm in the Southeast. As an attorney, he advised businesses and business owners on corporate transactions, succession planning and estate planning. He also represented corporate clients in insurance litigation in state and federal courts.

Tyler earned his BA, JD and MBA all from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He actively supports his alma mater where he currently serves on the College of Law Alumni Council. He also participates on local not-for-profit boards. Tyler and his wife Abigail live in Nashville with their two children, attend Christ Presbyterian Church and enjoy cooking, traveling and cheering for the Volunteers.
