Shane Jackson

Shane Jackson serves as a financial advisor and area manager for the Knoxville market. Shane joined Pinnacle in 2019.

Shane began his career in financial services in 2001 as a bank examiner for the Office of Thrift Supervision, now part of the Office of Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Shane spent 6 years with the OTS serving as both a safety and soundness and compliance examiner.  Shane later began a community banking career with Citizens National Bank in Athens (now Simmons Bank) where he was the chief credit officer and set up the Problem Asset Group. Shane moved to Knoxville to become president of another community bank, The Peoples Bank, until its merger with First US Bank.

Shane is a Boy Scout leader, member and past Director of the Knoxville Rotary Club, serves as Treasurer for the City of Knoxville / Knox County Public Building Authority and volunteers with the United Way.  

Shane enjoys hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and gardening in his free time. Shane and his wife Amy have been married for 25 years and have three children.
