David Shamblin

David Shamblin is a trust and wealth advisor serving Pinnacle clients from the Broad Street office in Chattanooga, TN.

He oversees the administration of a variety of client relationships including personal and insurance trusts, foundations and endowments, and retirement and investment assets for individuals and corporations. Throughout his career, David has worked with a variety of insurance companies in various stages of their life cycle as a strategic partner and advisor. David began his career as a financial advisor for a Tennessee-based financial planning agency where he focused his practice on fee-based financial and estate planning. As managing partner for the Chattanooga office, he oversaw and trained local financial advisors. Prior to joining Pinnacle in 2019, David served as vice president and wealth advisor for a large regional bank covering East Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and the North Georgia retail and commercial markets.

David holds Series 7 and 66 licenses, life and health license, and is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA). A Chattanooga native, David is active in the local professional and volunteer communities, serving in various capacities including as board chairman of a local elementary and middle school.
