Mitch Van Zelfden, CFA®

Mitch Van Zelfden is a trust portfolio manager based at Pinnacle’s Nashville Yards office in downtown Nashville, TN.

Mitch has more than 15 years of experience in portfolio management and institutional equity research.  As a portfolio manager, he is responsible for tailoring custom portfolio solutions for clients based on individual needs and long-term objectives.  

He began his financial services career in 2010.  Prior to joining Pinnacle in December 2024, Mitch worked at Truxton Trust, after spending 10 years as an equity research analyst with Stifel Nicolaus and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.  

Mitch earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Penn State University, while he was also a member of the men’s golf team.  He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  In his spare time, Mitch enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and newborn baby boy.
