Pinnacle Grows Upstate Deposits by 15.9% to $367.2 Million
Pinnacle Financial Partners has grown its deposits in the combined MSAs that make up Upstate South Carolina to $367.2 million, according to new data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). In Greenville-Anderson, deposits grew 17.3 percent to $305.7 million, elevating Pinnacle to No. 12 in deposit market share from No. 13 at June 30, 2019. In Spartanburg, the growth rate was 14.6 percent to $61.5 million, holding the firm steady at No. 14 in deposit market share.
Pinnacle is the Third Largest Bank in Roanoke by Deposits
Pinnacle Financial Partners has grown its deposits in the Roanoke MSA to more than $752.3 million as of June 30, 2020, according to new data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). That moves the firm up to No. 3 in the deposit market share rankings from No. 4 in 2019. During the 12 months ended June 30, 2020, Pinnacle grew local deposits by $166 million, or an increase of 28.3 percent, for 9.1 percent of total market share.
Pinnacle Financial Partners Crosses $1 Billion in Deposits in Memphis
Pinnacle Financial Partners has grown its deposits in the Memphis MSA to more than $1.2 billion as of June 30, 2020, according to new data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). As a result, Pinnacle moved up to No. 6 in the deposit market share rankings from No. 8 in 2019. This is the first time the firm has been over the billion-dollar mark for deposits in Memphis.

Pinnacle Financial Partners has named firm veteran Eddie Alford as its first diversity and inclusion officer. Alford will lead and coordinate work on related issues across all areas of the firm and will join its leadership team. Pinnacle Financial Partners is bringing strong and experienced talent on board in Charlotte to serve clients’ wealth management needs. Josh Holby, Mark Whitley and Jennifer Wichman have joined Pinnacle Asset Management, the firm’s unit for investment management and securities trading and execution. They are based at Pinnacle’s new office at The Refinery, 1213 W Morehead St. Previously, the trio worked at Wells Fargo Financial Advisors in Charlotte.

Pinnacle Opens Office in Uptown Charlotte with New Team of Veteran Bankers
Pinnacle Financial Partners has opened a new loan production office in Charlotte at the Refinery building in Uptown. This is the firm’s fourth office in Charlotte and 14th in southern North Carolina. It is located at 1213 W. Morehead Street. The Refinery office will house commercial and small business financial advisors, wealth management advisors, executive offices and administrative support.
