Businesses have bills to pay, and checks are an essential tool—but they can also be expensive, slow and risky for fraud. Pinnacle has partnered with Deluxe® to offer Deluxe Payment Exchange (DPX), a low-cost, outsourced payment solution designed to automate and improve payments by check while reducing payment fraud risk. 

Outsourcing the creation and delivery of check payments allows your company’s team to focus on more value-added tasks. Pairing it with Positive Pay brings peace of mind by ensuring each check presented for payment matches the check that was created. DPX is ideal for companies of all sizes and transaction volume and is especially suited for those underserved by tools with minimum volume requirements. It’s also an excellent offering for businesses that have experienced check fraud and are unable to create their own Positive Pay files. 

How It Works

  • Enroll and link your checking account(s) in the DPX platform.
  • Create a CSV file containing payment and remittance information and upload it into the DPX application or enter a single check manually.
  • Once the payment file is approved, Deluxe prints the paper checks on high-security paper and mails them.
  • If you send an eCheck, the payee will receive an email with a link to review the check and remittance data online. They can print the check or register with Deluxe to receive funds electronically (for a fee).
